Driving Directions

From Mid-Cape/Lower Cape: Take Route 6 towards Boston to Exit 5. When you exit turn left. Follow Rt 149, it will bear off to your right. Stay on 149 for 4 miles, it will dead-end into Rte 28N. Bear Right onto Rt 28N for 13 miles into the heart of Falmouth.

As you come into Falmouth, you will see a McDonald's on your left, shortly after will be a traffic light, go through the light slightly, and you will see an entrance to the Falmouth Mall, (look for the sign for Wal-Mart and Shaw's Market). Turn Left into the Mall.

Falmouth Mall Trolley Stop: The Trolley picks up between Wal-Mart and Shaw's Market, under the big clock. The Trolley runs daily every 30 mins starting at 9:30 am. It takes approximately 20 mins to get to Woods Hole Village (for the 10:00 am cruise, we always wait for the Trolley). Arriving in Woods Hole, the Trolley will turn left onto Luscombe Ave from Water Street to stop. Walk back up Luscombe to Water Street (Coffee Obsession on the left corner), turn left. Stay on Water Street, cross over the Draw Bridge and continue for 2 short blocks to Waterfront Park, on your left. You see will our Ticket Table by the dock.

From 495/195:
Travel South on Route 25 to Bourne Bridge. Cross over the Bridge. Take Route 28S to Falmouth at the Bourne Rotary. Stay on 28 for approx. 9 miles (it will be a four lane highway and eventually turn into one lane each way). The first traffic signal you come to will be Jones Road. Turn Left onto Jones Rd. Go 1 mile through the second set of lights, and then make a quick left into the Falmouth Mall. See Trolley Stop

From Route 3:
From Sagamore Bridge follow Route 6 West along the Canal. Cross over the Bourne Bridge. Take Route 28S to Falmouth at the Bourne Rotary. Stay on 28 for approx. 9 miles (it will be a four lane highway, and eventually turn into one lane each way). The first traffic signal you come to will be Jones Road. Turn Left onto Jones Rd. Go 1 mile through the second set of lights, and then make a quick left into the Falmouth Mall. See Trolley Stop

Driving into Woods Hole: You will see the Vineyard Ferry parking on your left, bear right in the village. Cross over the draw bridge (The drawbridge opens on the hour and half hour to allow boat traffic through from Eel pond. Traffic may be delayed on Water Street for 5 minutes), 2 blocks down on the left is Waterfront Park, where the boat is docked. One block beyond is the Aquarium, the end of Water Street. Remember parking spaces on the street are very limited, and are metered for 2 hours. The meters accept quarters only. Bring quarters with you. The cost is $1.00 per hour.
